Sizes, rules and costs, explained for Plumas Lake renters.
On private property, usually not. On a street, sidewalk or other public right of way, many towns do require one, and the rules differ across CA. Check with the Plumas Lake public works or permit office before the drop-off date.
Most fit, but the truck is the harder part. It commonly needs a long straight run to back in, plus height to tilt the bed clear of wires and branches. Measure your Plumas Lake driveway and mention any tight turns, soft ground or low limbs.
Usually, as long as the container is sized for the weight. Layers matter: two layers on a Plumas Lake roof can double the tonnage. Have your square count ready, and ask whether shingles need to stay separate from other debris where you are.
Ask for a short-walled heavy-debris container, and keep the fill below the marked line so the truck stays legal on CA roads. Clean concrete with no trash mixed in may be recycled, which can change how a Plumas Lake provider prices it.
Go by the job, not the house. A single bathroom or small cleanout in Plumas Lake often fits a 10 yard, a kitchen or several rooms of flooring a 15, and a mid-size reroof or full-floor remodel a 20. Going one size up usually costs less than a second haul.
Rental periods are set by each provider, and many start around a week. If your Plumas Lake project may run long, say so on the first call, because extra days are often cheaper when agreed before delivery than added afterward.
